Lovejoy Hospice spiritual care affirms and respects the diversity of belief systems and cultural expressions of the patient and family.
Spiritual care may include meditation, prayer, listening, rituals from many spiritual paths, funerals and memorial services. Whenever possible we will facilitate a connection to the family’s own faith community and spiritual advisor. Lovejoy Hospice’s spiritual care team, made up of representatives of several faith traditions, is readily available at the family’s request.
Our goal is to offer patient sensitive spiritual care to help the patient and family adjust to changes in their lives and to foster a sense of comfort, safety and peace.
